We are a student body at Bond University representing the values and policies of the Australian Labor Party at both the federal and state level. We serve the Bond student community by hosting a variety of political events, such as debates and networking session. Our political connections, and the opportunities we present to budding Labor Party advocates, reach across state and electoral lines. For any student looking to broaden their political horizons and to be part of a political party that is dedicated to the welfare of all Australians, look no further. In the words of former Prime Minister Gough Whitlam, The Labor Party has always aimed to: “Promote equality, to involve the people of Australia in the decision-making processes of our land, and to liberal the talents and uplift the horizons of the Australian people.”
The Bond University Liberal Club (BULC) is a student society recognised in the By-Laws of the Queensland Young Liberal Nationals. Founded in the early 1990s by the Hon Steven Ciobo MP, our club has had a long and proud history of bringing together like-minded Bondies through a variety of events held on campus and connecting the student community with Australia’s political heavyweights. We discuss policy and take part in local political campaigns, offering the much-needed youth support to our local Liberal Members of Parliament. Our club is open to Bondies of all ages, backgrounds, and political affiliations and we gladly welcome new members.
