Bond University Cheerleading
The Bond University Cheerleading Club, consisting of a promotional and a competition team, perform at events within the Gold Coast community along with competing at State and National levels around Australia. Along with being National Champions in 2015, 16 and 17, the club received the champion club award at the 2018 Bond Sport Blues Awards. This prestigious award is given to the sporting club that best represents all aspects of University life and culture, both on and off the field. Overall, Bond Cheer provides a family that is inclusive and fun for all students.

Bond University Equestrian Club (BUEC) supports, encourages and gives the opportunity for young students to continue competitive equestrian riding whilst studying at University. The Bond University Equestrian Club provides events, training sessions and clinics for equestrian university students. BUEC encourages all types of equestrian riders, whether you are new or experienced in whatever discipline you feel comfortable in including showjumping, dressage, eventing, hacking and combined training.

Yes, gaming is a sport! We focus primarily on League of Legends, DOTA 2, CS:GO, Fortnite and some other popular MOBA and MMORPG games. The eSports Club has a dedicated training hub in Building 6 on the 2nd floor below the Princeton Room]. If you want to play, don’t hesitate to contact us!

Bond University Golf
BUG holds a social golf night at KDV sport with discounted tickets for Bond students and snack food provided. We also support our competitive golfers by building team morale and help them to succeed at national competitions such as Australian University Games.

The Bond Netball Club is the largest sporting club on campus and offers a variety of ways in which individuals can become involved in sport at Bond. For anyone interested in playing or umpiring netball during the semester we have a variety of ways you can get involved! We have a weekly mixed social competition where no experience is necessary and everyone is welcome, both full teams and individuals.

Bond University Rugby
Bond University Rugby is a Premier Rugby Union program within Bond University, based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The team competes in the Queensland Premier Rugby competition. Players can be both students and non-students.

Social tennis every Monday and Wednesday nights from 6-8pm, provide free coaching and pizza to students, Bond students only, offer racquets and balls to be borrowed by students on the night.
Bond University Touch Club
Bond Touch Club is one of the largest sporting clubs on campus. We hold a weekly social competition on Monday evenings and compete externally at Palm Beach.
Bond University Volleyball Club
We offer indoor and beach volleyball sessions for all, beginner, intermediate, or advanced. All are welcome. Beach sessions run Mondays to Wednesdays at the Beach Courts near the gym. Indoor sessions run Thursdays and Sundays in the Sports Hall. We are dedicated to promoting and organising the volleyball club while nurturing the development of skills of our players and all Bond students. The club ensures to provide opportunities for club members to compete at a social or competitive level while promoting equality and good sportsmanship for all. Above all, we are essentially about just having fun.
